Canon 70-200 f/2.8L IS USM

Canon currently sell three variations of the 70-200mm lens, and this particular variant represents the most expensive, and also the heaviest. The constant f/2.8 aperture delivers wonderful bokeh, and the image stabiliser provides a welcome bonus when shooting static objects in low light. This is the most expensive lens I own, but certainly one that I will never need to update or replace. On a 1.6x crop camera, the effective focal length is 112-320mm. Coupled with a 1.4x teleconvertor, the lens becomes a 157-448mm f/4 lens equivilant.
