I had one of my most eventful races in iRacing this week when I raced the Radical at Road Atlanta. I started 6th of 25 and thanks to being over-cautious in turn one I made a stupid error and ran out of road. That mistake saw me bounce through the grass and rejoin the field in last place.
This saw me fall all the way to the back of a 25 car grid, but with a 50 minute, 35 lap race to get some positions back.
Even though I was destined to lose some iRating I still had a lot of fun chasing down cars, exercising some patience, and gaining positions slowly as I climbed up the order.
I even had a very fun chase down on 7th place in the last 15 laps (was gaining around 1 second a lap) but it was not to be as I just about caught him as we crossed the finish line together.
Road Atlanta is a great track for the Radical. There are a handful of tracks where the Radical is an absolute pig to drive, and others (Silverstone being another) where the combination is such a perfect match.
